The story of Lizzy, the Night-Time Bird whose dream is to reach the stars. Despite her determination, Lizzy struggles with dizziness when she tries to fly high and she has to find another way to make her dream come true.
Avalyn (now 15), has lived with long Covid for over three years, drew inspiration from her own life when writing and illustrating Lizzy’s journey. Her daily life is affected by chronic fatigue, brain fog, joint pain, dizziness, and sensory issues. Through this book, Avalyn hopes to bring joy to children and inspire them to find their unique paths toward achieving their dreams, just like Lizzy.
